Denim Size Charts - Flat Derriere

The Fit: Opt for denim that will accentuate your preexisting curves. Look for stretch denim and a slim fit to boost your Derriere.

Warning: Stay away from loose fits, wide legs, and rigid denim

 Recommendations: Try denim with a flap pocket or a pair of heels to add curves. We suggest True Religion Joey with a flap pocket, Habitual Denim, and Taverniti which all have extensive embroidery or zippers on the back pockets.

Denim Size Charts - Curvy

The Fit: To accentuate your shape, look for stretch denim that sits just below your natural waistline. Choose denim that fits best around your hips and thighs and a boot cut that balances out your curves. Remember, your tailor can take in the waist if necessary.

Warning: Avoid baggy denim that will add to your curviness.

Recommendations: Try Citizens of Humanity Ingrid, Kelly or Faye cut. Joe’s Jeans which are known for their flattering fit, Paige Premium Denim, and True Religion’s without the flap pocket. Also, make sure to get denim with 1% or 2% of stretch that will work with your curves, not against them.

The Fit : Choose a low waisted pair of jeans and a slightly longer hemline over a pair of heels.

Warning: Stay away from wide leg, flare, and anything that will overwhelm your smaller frame.

Recommendations: Taverniti, Seven For All Mankind, and True Religions. Straight Leg denim will create a long visual line, especially paired with heels! Stay away from capris and Bermuda shorts.

The Fit: Look for denim that cuts low with a strait leg or slight bootcut.

Warning: Steer clear of cropped pants and wide legs that will make you look even longer.

Recommendations: Fortunately everything is cutting longer these days and most inseams are 34 inches. However, there are few extra long ones such as Habitual and Paige Premium Denim. Remember that wearing flats with bring those jeans closer to the ground!

The Fit: Wear stretch denim that sits just below your natural waist.

Warning: Stay away from extremely low cut denim or high waisted denim that will draw attention to your midsection.

Recommendations: Make Sure your denim has a touch of stretch to work with your curves, also stay away from denim with an ultra low rise. Look for an 8” rise or above and stick to a boot cut or straight leg that will balance the curves. such as Habitual, Citizens Kelly Bootcut, Seven For All Mankind, Paige Premium Denim.

The Fit: Wear a low rise stretch denim that will optimize space and minimize size. Choose a bootcut or flare denim to add balance to your figure and a darker wash to defer attention to details.

Warning: Stay away from slim fits and light weight denim which tends to reveal too much. Avoid small pockets that can also enlarge your lower body appearance.
